Connecting Laptops to AirPennNet

Windows

  1. Select the network called AirPennNet and click Connect.
  2. Log in with your Pennkey and Pennkey Password.

If that does not work: 

  1. Select the network called Connect to AirPennNet and go to upenn.edu.
  2. Open up a web browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc.) and navigate to upenn.edu
  3. You should then see this screen.mceclip0.png
  4. Select Join Now and it will download the Secure W2 program.
  5. Open the Secure W2 program.
  6. Log in with your Pennkey and Pennkey Password.
  7. After your credentials have been authenticated, you should be connected to AirPennNet.

Mac

  1. Select the network called Connect to AirPennNet and go to upenn.edu.
  2. Open up a web browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc.) and navigate to upenn.edu
  3. You should then see this screen.mceclip2.png
  4. Select Join Now and opened the downloaded Secure W2 program.
  5. Open the Secure W2 program.
  6. Log in with your Pennkey and Pennkey Password.
  7. After your credentials have been authenticated, you should be connected to AirPennNet.

    Unfortunately, this does not always work if you have a Windows 10-running personal computer. You need to go back and check the protocols.
