How to Delete an Unapproved eLab Draft

This tutorial describes how providers can remove drafts from DDX / eLab Management.

Instructions

1. Click the eLab Management module. The DDX / eLab window opens.
2. Click on Drafts on the left-hand side.

3. Click on the “X” (right side) for the draft you are trying to delete.

   

4. Message appears saying, “Are you sure you want to delete this draft?” Click OK.
5. Close DDX / eLab Management.
6. De-select the patient in axiUm, re-select the patient, and go to EHR: Labs.
   • If the draft is greyed out, there is nothing else you need to do.
   • If the draft is still showing as unapproved:
     1. Double-click the unapproved eLab draft and select Edit elab. The DDX / eLab window opens.
     2. Close the DDX browser window.
     3. Once you de-select the patient again in axiUm and re-select, the draft should be deleted.
