eLab Case Showing as Unapproved Draft

Due to a syncing error between DDX and axiUm, sometimes an eLab will show as an unapproved draft in axiUm, even though it is an approved case in DDX.

Instructions

First level trouble-shooting (student/resident/faculty provider):

1. Click on eLab Management module on the left side panel to open DDX. A new window opens.

2. Search for the chart number in the search bar. If a matching case appears, click to open.

   

3. After the new window loads showing the case, close the window.
4. Select the patient in axiUm, then go to EHR: Labs tab.

Steps #2-3 above act as a syncing mechanism. The eLab should now show as an approved case, not an unapproved draft. If the eLab is still unapproved in axiUm, reach out to PDM IT.
